Exciting news for the Olympique de Marseille – FC Nantes game on Sunday ! LFP MEDIA and DAZN are launching Data Zone, a new way to watch Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches in collaboration with Genius Sports.

Data Zone is a ground-breaking new broadcast mode for French sports to immerse, inform and entertain fans. Launched with DAZN (domestic broadcasters of the Ligue 1 McDonalds), Data Zone is a statistics-driven live viewing mode designed to bring fans even closer to the action. With a rolling news and L-bar style format, Data Zone will provide French football fans with rich and real-time updates at every moment of the game, including passing accuracy, players speed, off ball runs and 1v1 breakdowns.

Starting next matchweek, this innovative way of experiencing Ligue 1 McDonald’s games will be available for one match per matchweek on DAZN.

Data Zone is powered by GeniusIQ, Genius Sports’ next generation sports data and AI platform, which ingests huge volumes of tracking data through optical cameras, installed across every Ligue 1 McDonalds venues, before applying machine learning to create a complete semantic understanding of football.
